Mechanical Deep Clean
Our mechanical deep clean method involves using a unique raking system capable of thoroughly cleaning up to 7 acres of beach per hour, efficiently and quietly. Operating at levels of 85dB or less, our system meets and exceeds all Occupational Safety and Health Standards. Our mechanical rakes are operated by a single person from the seat of a towing tractor. Hundreds of stainless-steel tines, mounted in offset rows, rake through the sand every second, capturing and removing all types of debris without destabilizing the beach, including but not limited to:
- broken glass
- plastic, syringes
- straws
- empty cans
- stones up to 4″ in diameter
- sea grass and seaweed
- fish
- small pieces of driftwood
- cigarette butts
- bottle caps
Beach Grooming & Raking
Smooth beach raking is a specific type of beach raking that aims to create a uniform, flat surface on the beach by removing and flattening irregularities in the sand. This method of beach grooming is most commonly used in commercial settings such as resorts, where a smooth, pristine beach appearance is considered an important feature to ensure a positive beachgoer experience.
